Beware of this company, which is a main tourist stop on many travel company tours in Shanghai. Through a translator, my mother was led to believe she was purchasing authentic black pearls. She paid $2,100 US currency for a necklace and ring set.  When she returned home and had the jewelry appraised, the appraiser said the pearls were dyed and the set was worth $150 at best.  I immediate tried contacting the company via e-mail as listed on its business card and attempted to get onto its Web site. Both were fakes. The store looks like a high-end department store when you enter and there is high-pressure selling.  Granted my mother should not have purchased any jewelry in a foreign country and one without an American Express approval seal at the business. (American Express exempt any loss claims relating to jewelry purchases). This company was underhanded and prey on foreign travelers, especially seniors in the case of my mother.
