I personally worked for Ellen Lavinthal and prepared meals for her guest and lunches for her. She never ate meat and raised her daughter on the same belief. Sometimes people become obssed with revenge or out side cruelty. I can honestly say Ellen not only treated her animals with love and kindnes, protected them and through her direction I dont eat meat now either. I was fired from the Lavinthal Estate so I can honestly say that this rebutal is not out of loyaty but from truth. Ellen is a kind person whom I know would never eat meat! Ellen is well respected in the community and would not use her charity for her pesonal goals. The person making these acusations sounds more like hate than truth, and childish why even bring up age?  So if you do read this go to Ellens website meet her at a rally she is honest and truthful.

There is no truth to this report.  I have worked for Ellen for two years.  I was her Interior Designer and we spent every single day together renovating her house.  In all that time there was not a sliver of a moment where Ellen was anything but kind, overly generous, grateful and compassionate.  When it comes to animals, she is a champion for them in every way.  She educates everyone around her on how to operate from a place of kindness to the helpless and harmless creatures who depend on us every day.  I learned so much from working for Ellen, much more than any job I have ever had.  I also happend to be the one who placed her framed law degree (Suma c*m Laude, btw) in her office... so there!

Ellen Lavinthal is a lovely person, which is evident by the rebuttals to this bogus report.  I have worked with Ellen.  I have worked for Ellen and I consider her to be a dear friend.  In all the business and personal dealings I have had with Ellen, I have never seen even the slightest shred of hypocracy or dishonesty.  She conducts herself with dignity and when it comes to animals she is a passionate leader in the "animal world" devoting time, money and energy to raise awareness.  Personally, she has a half a dozen critters who love her and she devotes much of her day to caring for them.  Ellen graduated Suma c*m Laude (I personally placed her framed degree in her office).  Ellen is a force to be reckoned with in the Animal world and most importantly, she is a loyal friend to me and my family.  It angers me that a person with a personal vendetta feels compelled to disparage an honest and hard working person to make themselves feel powerful.

I was Ellen's part time assistant for a few years, ending approx two years ago when I found employment in my field.  She was not only a delight to work for, but displayed incredible integrity.  The charges above that she used donations for her own personal use are ridiculous.  Ellen's husband, Dennis, is a powerful and sucessful man in the music industry.  Ellen did not need to misuse funds!!!!  In fact she spent plenty of her own money on her Animal Alliance chairty as well as many other charities ranging from animal welfare to children in need to veterans and senior citizens.  I once heard someone say she has a heart the size of Alaska and I found that to be true.  I was there to personally see the checks going out to the numerous charities and friends and family in need.  Lastly, having possessed her personal info I can tell you Ellen was not 60 years old at the time the above report was written Kris Kelly, nor is she now!!  And yes she DID graduate from USC law school!  Her father use to brag about that!  lol :)

This was clearly written by Kris Kelly, aka crazy Alicia Cozzolino, who Ellen had the courage to go after openly after Kris Kelly Foundation was caught red-handed (see the MULTITUDE of rip off reports written about Kris Kelly) STEALING funds destined for rescue dogs. Ellen is kind hearted and adored in the animal world by so many for her tireless devotion for more then two decades and you will be hard pressed to find accuracy in any of these ludicrous charges (so off the wall, Ellen years later has not even bothered to respond to them, but as her friend of 20 years, I decided to finally set the record straight on the utter absurdities in the report). Proof is in the pudding-- anyone can verify if indeed Ellen did go to Law School and you will see she did, graduating in 1984 from the USC (University of Southern California) School of Law in Los Angeles!  No reason to lend dignity to the other fabrications Kris lied about in the report! I mean really, "terrorizing neighborhood kids"... and so on!

Again, read the tons of reports filed by so many against the lunatic girl named Kris Kelly and her foundation, THE KRIS KELLY FOUNDATION (who DOES lie about her motives, age, name, cosmetic surgery and background and steals funds) and you will understand the origins of and person behind  this report written by Kris and any other reports that may appear on Ellen in the future (as Kris very likely will retailate this defense of my dear friend Ellen).

BRAVO ELLEN, Deborah Von Brod, Fawn, Gabriella and the rest of you who OPENLY STOOD UP TO KRIS! It is not easy to go after someone who is so vindictive.
