Claim that they are backed up and that they are just waiting for the trucks to come pick up orders. They lied and said they could deliver by Christmas. I wonder if I just got scammed. It is now January 2, 2012 County Imports/ Buggy World sent me an email on December 17, 2011 saying:

If your order shows it is "Ready to Ship" (tracking not available yet but is next!)

"Ready to ship" means our staff has completed all the legal verification process required by all Credit Card Companies to prevent fraud and incorrect orders. They have double checked your order for accuracy and are preparing your order for shipping. Below is a detailed process. Then, in the next 1-2 business days your order will be completed by our
staff and moved to "Complete"

It has been 15 days! Now I am wondering if I got scammed? I just wanted to get my kids a nice Christmas present. Oh yeah, It's impossible to get someone there on the phone after they take your money. I wonder if they proved any kind of customer service after they get your money.

AUTHOR: Took my money, havent shipped, do n - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 18, 2012

First, I'd like to say that I did finally receive the motorcycle for my kids. It worked great and was a lot of fun for everyone.

However, the staff that sold it to me did say it could make it by Christmas. It came long after Christmas. In addition, I was never told that I could cancel as stated in their reply above. Staff should never have said it could arrive before Xmas. Especially if it was ordered after their cut off date. (of which I learned of only after I complained). There is also no excuse for leaving customers hanging for weeks. I called hundreds of times and emailed, but NOBODY could be reached. I seriously thought I had been ripped off.

The truth is that they were really busy and aren't prepared to manage busy holidays like Christmas. They also can't give any kind of specific arrival dates like sites such as amazon or other major online retailers.

After a long tense wait and some involvement from MasterCard, we finally came to an agreement that I think everyone was happy with. I didn't like that I had to spend so many hours on the phone just trying to reach them. It also took time when I got my credit card co involved. Don't really have time to waste like this. Hope they will have better luck next Christmas Season.

Holiday Orders

AUTHOR: Countyimports.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 18, 2012

First we would like to apologize for any orders that did not make the cut off time frame. This past holiday season our company worked overtime to ensure that holiday orders got out in time. Our cut off date for orders was Dec 9th this year because we wanted to make sure that every ones orders we processed and shipped in a timely matter. Any orders that were received after that date were filled case by case. If this customer was emailed that the order went into "Ready to Ship" on Dec 17th, it is most likely that this order was placed after the cut off time. All customers were contacted and advised if the order would make it in time and then given the option of cancelling. They were also advised, based on the manufacturer, that some units would not ship until after the first of the year. Again any orders that were placed in the time frame between Dec 10th and Dec 24th were notified of this issue and given the choice of cancelling. If this customer did not cancel there order the unit was shipping after the cut off time and would have taken more then 15 business days to be received. We also state in our Terms of Agreement that during our busy seasons some orders can take up to 21 business days for shipping depending on the shipping time frame.
