I used a search engine (Bing) and typed in work from home jobs. I was directed to a site that had a picture of a woman that stated she was from my hometown and had made a good income from posting ads for Google at home. Thinking this may be a good way for me to catch up on past due bills and not have to seek financial assistance from charities I decided to look into it. This website advertises that they will send you a kit that will give you all the knowledge and resources that will allow you to manage ads on ebay for companies. They ask you for a credit card number for the $1.00 charge of the kit. Three days later they charge your credit card $129.95. When I saw this on my checking account balance I immediately called the number they provided where it took me three different call center reps (who yes got a huge lot of explicit language from me) to get to a supervisor who then said that I had checked a box agreeing to their terms and conditions and that they had my IP address to confirm that I had done it. However, there was no box to check or fine print of any kind relating to this $129.95 charge. I had a representative from my bank on the phone with me and he still argued with me and refused to do anything to return my money until I mentioned reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. He then agreed to give his full name and refund reference # to my bank representative. Thinking everything was ok I went about my business until I checked my bank balance and realized that this fraud company had turned right around and RE-CHARGED my account for $129.95. My bank rep called the company and got my money returned again. In the meantime, I ended up with $75.00 in bank fees, had to drive to my bank and fill out a form disputing the charge and had to cancel my debit card and get another one reissued. This is a total scam, please don't fall for it and if in fact it does happen to you, please report to the Better Business Bureau in AZ which is where this company seems to be located. Arizona's BBB can be reached at 602-264-1721 and they will be happy to tell you how you can supply them with info about these scam artists.
