In this case #379137, anonymous report, the author claims to be writing on behalf of a friend. I find it interesting that the friend did not write anything. This anonymous writer would have not been in on the conversation to know anything about our sales tactics or the services we provide.
The title to this report mentions names but the report itself says nothing specific about who said what to the friend.
We are not misleading in our selling practices as this anonymous report indicates. Our purpose is to service union members by providing them with a reliable resource for union news and information as well as provide a directory of businesses for services and products they may need. We sell advertising space on our website to businesses. As with any type of advertising whether it is the internet, newspaper yellow pages, etc., there are never any guarantees of business and we do not have control over the union members as to who they choose to do business with. We offer a cost effective way for businesses to market themselves and are creating the avenue for union members to find providers who will offer fair and concerned service to them. It is advertising.
This author also says, Save your money and aggravation. If you are a company that has paid for an ad on their site I suggest you call them and demand your money back and dispute the purchase will your credit card company or tell them you will register a complaint with the BBB or the Las Vegas attorney general
The last time I checked, contacting businesses to advertise online, or any other media, is not a scam. I will let you know that the BBB, credit card companies and attorney general recognize Union Friendly just as they do the internet, newspaper, yellow pages, etc., as a source of advertising businesses.

As stated in our rebuttal to report #373746 Union Friendly is not and does not claim to be a affiliated with or have a relationship with any union halls. We do distribute discount cards and posters to union halls to make Union Friendly better known to the union members and allow them the opportunity to utilize our services. We have never claimed to be endorsed by any of the unions.
We will be happy to speak with this anonymous business owner at any time but will not take the word of a friend who does not know who we are and what we do. So to the friend, have the owner call us.
