Wyndham Vacation Resorts - Fairfield Resorts scammed us out of 159.00, because we fell for their bait and switch! Margate Florida

Additional Comments due to rebuttal "Pay Attention"...Yes, i agree, we should have paid very close attention, and am only trying to get others to be wary and "pay attention" when dealing with this organization.

If there is any doubt about the problems with Wyndham/Fairfield, note this: In March 08 alone, five more complaints have been aired on Rip-Off. There are complaints every month. There are likely many other people who experience what we and others have who never voiced it on any internet site.

As far as the word "availability" is concerned, that is a code word for "dream-on, there is rarely to never any actual resorts available to stay in." And, it was the sales person on the phone who led us to believe we would be staying at a resort. Interesting the "Three Star Hotels" you refer to are rated lower by consumers, because, the consumer is the one who actually uses it. If Wyndham is so innocent, why is there a class action suit against it now, by us consumers?

When you set these vacations up, there is something you should pay attention to, when they say you can stay at the resort, it also states that it is based on availability. I know for a fact that the letters state it, I use to print the letters off myself. Also fyi the reason everything says Wyndham, is because two years ago Fairfield merged with Wyndham to further increase its advatages for its members. Another thing, as per company policy, every hotel that Wyndham is contracted with is a 3 star or above. When you look at these websites PAY ATTENTION because the ratings that you see are rated by the CONSUMER not the actual hotel ratings department. Furthermore, that is a rating of the AMMENITIES NOT THE HOTEL ROOM. Wyndham/Fairfield is the LARGEST timeshare company in the world, and a fortune 100 company, I seriously doubt that they are scamming you.
