I bought a '99 Dodge Neon R/T from a car dealership named AutoMax in Fairfield, Ohio. I was only 19 at the time and really needed a car at the time and couldn't get anyone to finance me, So i went through the car dealerships finance company (CAC)Credit Acceptance, and got approved. The car was $7,250.00 but after getting financed all toegether i paid $1225.00. Yeah that is 25% interest rate. Credit Acceptance said that i needed to have the warranty through Wynn's. So i paid the extra cash for it. I got the car in October of 2002, and it is now March 3, 2003 and out of all the time i have had this car i have drove it about 1mth 1/2 that is it all the other times it has been in the shop for diffrent things everytime. The first things i had done to it was sending the heads out for a leak. They paid for some but i ended up paying $ 400 dollars of it. When it was in the shop at that time the mechanic told me that the timing belt was ready to break and the timing tensnor was loose. Well they wanted them to take the engine apart again, but they said if it wasn't broke they weren't fixing it. So i drove it off with it had it about 3 weeks, being loud and all driving around like that being embarrassed as hell, then i had to take it in again and this was because my car wouldn't start. Why? Cause the timing belt came off cause the tensnor was loose it was hitting the cover and knocked the timing belt off. Not only that but now they took it apart and now a valve is bent. I called the warranty company and they still won't cover it. It is in my warranty and everything. They were contacted and bothered by me and two other mechanics about 10 diffrent times about the timing belt needing to be fixed they still wouldn't cover it till it broke. Now i have a car that i make payments on $301.00 a mth. That i can't even drive. It is just sitting in a shop as we speak. I even called the place i bought it from and they said i guess ur stuck paying for a car that u can't drive. I am about to tell them to come get it and shove it up there asses!!!!!!!! So now i have no car to get anywhere not even to work. I am stuck driving my gf's car. These people do not honor there warranty's at all. Even if they do cover it, it's not all covered even if u do have to pay for the deductable. These people are asssholes. They tried to say no one ever contacted them about the timing belt they supposly had no records of phone calls. When we knew for a fact they were called like 10 diffrent times. These people are liars. I wish i never bought this car or a warranty through these people. They need to be stopped and have a big lawsuit against them. that is what i plan on doing here very soon. So Wynn's if your reading this plan on getting sued by quite a few people cause it looks like i ain't the only on that u have screwed over.
