She had and still does have a Home Medical Alert system and has no use for this device. It was never activated and they still charge her. They will not respond to my phone calls or emails. This device is a portable emergency medical responder.  My 87 year old mother is home bound and has had a MedAlert system in her home for the past 5 years.  She is being charged 34.95 per month for this device which looks like it is worth all of 15.00 at the most.  The charges started in Sept, 2015 and I just discovered what they were for.  I have tried for the past month and a half to contact these people with no response. emails will not go through, phone just rings.  I want to press charges against them for Elder Abuse. She is not a wealthy person.  It takes all of her monthly check to cover her necessary expenses and I want to recover this $400.00 if all possible.
