My husband and i hired xo movers to transport our belongings to Nebraska after we bought a home. We are both senior citizens and have medical issues so we thought it would be easier to use a moving company. this was first time ever using a moving company and it was a desaster. They lost and damaged a lot of our items and some we never received. they damaged a lot upon arrival letting it fall off the truck. We did submit a claim for $3800.00 but they offered $45.00 which was a slap in the face. After sending e-mails back and forth they made one last offer of $200.00 which we did not except.

 xo movers my husband and i bought a home in nebraska and hired ox movers to move our belongings to nebraska. they were suppose to bring a truck with a scale to weigh our stuff but, didn't. on the day of the move 3 guys came in and started loading our belongings and using there clear wrap to load items that we couldn't or didn't know how to wrap. we paid the $600.00 as agreed upon pick up. after arriving in nebraska there was some re-negotiation as to what we owed so another $1100.00 was paid to them and upon arrival of our belongings we paid another 1700.00. only to find out a lot of our stuff was lost , or damaged some was damaged upon arrival. some of our boxes had been open and re-sealed with there clear wrapping. the boxes were busted like they were thrown or dropped from a high altitude. therefore a lot of items were broken inside the boxes, so i took pictures. when we called xo movers regarding the damages we were told to contact their insurance company. they took several months and we complied with everything they ask. we submitted a claim of 3800.00 and they offered us 45.00. i do have all the pictures of damaged items. their last offer was 200.00. the walker i got after knee surgery was over 300.00 by itself. if they had met us at least half way i wouldn't be filing this complaint. union city California
