I used xoom to send money to Spain me being me i called before I and ask how there services worked and when it would arrive in Spain. Customer service explained to me that after xoom receives the money they will then they will send it to their partners and they can either deposit it into the bank account, hand deliver it, or persons can pick it up. He said cash would be deposited to the bank account by depositing the cash directly to the account. and it would b there by monday that they were the fastest and most reliable company. Knowing that i stupidly sent the money. When monday came money did not arrive when i called customer service said that their partners had not taken it to deposit and that they will try to contact them. Goes to say that once they hand off the money to their middle men they have no control on their service or have any confirmation on where it is and they only contact their partners by email. he said that it should definitely be there by tues. and he will let me know more then. almost instantly the status on the tracking changed to depositing to bank which at the time the bank was closed. so it seemed to me that someone manually changed it to reflect as so. tues. rolled around and the money was still not there when i called after waiting a whole day xoom again said well we have to ask or partners then said o wait it says here completed and the money is in the account. when clearly it wasn't then when i gave proof it wasn't xoom said that the completed came from the bank and said that this was their partner which contradicts with what the previous person said. no one could give me a straight answer i asked for a refund and still xoom says they cannot refund me the money since it has been dilivered in their systems so they have to talk to their partners to find out what has happened to my money. a week later still no response from them seems like their partners can be anybody trust me use western union. xoom can b cheap but like they say you get what you pay for.
