Xtreme Scooters Ruined xmas for my 10 year old son Newton Iowa

Do not buy from this company! You'll be sorry. I promise. I purchased an x400 scooter for my little boy for xmas. When I rec'd the scooter there was a broken bracket on the scooter(I wish now that was the only problem I had with it!) which I understood it probably happened when it shipped. Well, when my son got on the scooter it worked for about 3 minutes and the batteries died. My husband thought that MAYBE the batteries just needed charging..well...here we are 4 MONTHS later and we have been given the run around from day 1.

First they said to go out and buy (with our own $12) a gadget to check the batteries...We did. They said to send the batteries back to them (we had to pay $23 shipping). They said they were shipping new batteries, BUT, were waiting for the shipment from CHINA. We finally rec'd the batteries April 3rd. We put the batteries in praying it would work. And yes you guessed it...DEAD SCOOTER!!! There is no way 2 sets of batteries were defective. The scooter is a PIECE of JUNK! No other words to describe it.

There technical dept. and customer service are the most unprofessional and rude people i have ever dealt with as a consumer. They refuse to refund my money and refuse to send a new scooter (which at this point they couldn't pay me to take another defective scooter off of their hands). I don't understand how these people sleep at night. Knowing most of these scooters are purchased for children. They are pathetic!!! Oh, I almost forgot the best part!!! the customer service manager "Kristy" refuses to give out the owners name!!! So UNBELIEVABLE!
