Xtremehomes Hurt My Family Dont Let Them Do It To You! I signed a contract to have a home built by Tim and he did not ever do anything! Oroville California

I went to Tim to have a home built. He lined us up with CTX lending who said Tim was a great contractor. We even had to give money up front to Tim for plans and engineering.

Over a year dragged by and nothing ever happened. It was so bad our loan was called by the bank. After 18 months he just did not talk to us anymore. We called his partners, his architect no one would help us.

We started hearing from other families who he had done the same to. We heard our deposits were used for the Kaufman house but even that did not turn out well for xtremehomes.

We went to the lenders but they would not help us. We went to the contractors board but Tim was not licensed. We tried to contact the person whose license number was on our contracts but he would not talk to us. Then 1 year ago or so ctx was closed in Santa Rosa and we were told our land was being forclosed on.

We went to a local attorney who looked and could not find any assets so even if we sued and won we would not get anything. We would hav eto go up to Northern California to sue and even if we won there would be nothing to pay us with. All his staff has changed so many times. His vice president filed bankruptcy to protect himself from us.

The only other time we heard from Tim was to threaten us about talking with each other. He reminded us that we had non disclosures forbidding us to talk about our issues with him. The only houses he built ended up in litigation. They all went through arbitration and no one was alloweed to talk about how badly the houses that did go out were built. This is a horrible company who lowballs the job to get the deposit but does nothing for you after that. Buyer beware. Do your homework!! He is not licensed and he does not care.
