Yacht Management South Florida inc Sold me a suv with a bad engine Fort Lauderdale Florida

I bought a ford excursion from this company (they have yatchs and trucks I guess) I’m not sure why they had it for sale but they did so I flew from Maryland to purchase the vehicle and was planning to drive it back upon arrival everything looked as advertised so I had a cashiers check ready to go for the amount advertised and paid for it once we got all the paperwork done my wife and I got on 95 , heading to Maryland we barely made it 60 miles down the road when the car completely shut down luckily we were able to stay clear of the highway and make it safe to the shoulder.

Had to get it towed back to a mechanic near the marina next day he was able to diagnose the vehicle and the engine had seized and told us that we needed it a new engine $6500 ok  so we knew going into this that this place is obviously not a car dealership but just to make it 60 miles ?? We call the place they said that they sold the car as is and they have lots of lawyers so we need to talk to them. And yeah they’re right they have lawyers and money and are probably laughing at me because I was dumb enough to buy their car  so don’t worry you won’t hear anything else from us but just want to let everyone know that if they did it to me I’m sure they’re going to do it to someone else. 

I’m the fool in this review.  Btw the best part about dealing with this company was that the guy that was taking care of doing the paperwork for us about the truck had a dog and she was so friendly and nice. so thank you for selling me a car that made it 60 miles and don’t worry I don’t have lawyers and money to come after you so there’s nothing you guys need to worry about.  The name of the company on the tittle is Lauderdale Towing and salvage.  And the guy that was our point of contact  was Ryan
