Yahoo! Music Jukebox AKA Music.yahoo.com Beware of the scam Internet

I'm an avid bicycle rider and I recently bought a mp3 player to take music with me as I ride. There was a Yahoo! music promotional card in the packaging of the mp3 stating that I could go to their website and fill-up my mp3 with music for free for 30 days as long as I cancelled the subscription within 30 days. I took them up on their offer and subscribed. The subscription was called Music Unlimited and allowed me full access to all of the music on the site including mp3 download capability. I downloaded music to my mp3 with no problems and cancelled the subscription within the 30 days allowed thinking that I could listen to the already downloaded music forever.

Of course that turned out not to be the case when I soon got a message stating that the downloaded music was no longer available to me because my subscription was no longer in effect.

I then decided to re-up my Music Unlimited subscription so that I could again listen to the music I had already downloaded to my mp3 as well as download more. Yahoo advertised their Musc Unlimited subscription on their webite at $71.88 a year which I bought. When I tried to download music to my mp3, I discovered that I could no longer do that and was then told by Yahoo that they no longer offered that capability. Since the sole purpose of my buying the subscription was to get music for my mp3, I demanded a refund and was refused.

I made the point to them that if they had a change in policy concerning downloads since my first subscription, which was only about a month prior, then they should have clearly and conspicuously stated that on the site and I would not have subscribed.

This is clearly a bait and switch scam that everybody should be aware of and who knows what other rip-offs they're trying to pull on this website. My advise would be to just stay away from it.
