I contacted YEXT INC. to help me correct all my business listings on all the search engines.  They told me that they would change them real quick.

So I paid them $438.52 in January of 2014.  And everything "looked good", until this year they wanted $500.00 to do it again.... So I asked them, wait a minute, you said that you were going to do that last year, and there reply was basically, "well we only overlay your info over the top of all the business listings and they just take and report it from that".  So when I asked them if I don't pay you this year, what happens?  They answered "it will unlock the information that we had and it will probably go back to the way it was before".

That is like you paying for a new website, and then the next year the builder of the website wants to make more money off of you, and tells you "oh, we need to charge you for the website that we did last year, and if you don't pay then we are take your website down. 

This is outrageous!!  This has to stop!!

This is a fraud, a scam, and extortion.

I then said that since they did not do what they said they were going to do (correct my business listings in all the search engines, instead they just made it look like they did),  that they needed to give me my money back in full, because now I am going to have to pay somebody else to do it.  But they refused and said that they were going to take the info down.

So, do not use yext powerlisting.  They will not actually do any corrections for your actual business listings. They will just make it look like they did and then in a year they will come back for more money from you.  Stay away from YEXT POWERLISTINGS!!
