Yoram Kalak - Tony Moving Scam, Pick up items, put in storage, got paid, then disappeared ripoff North Miami Beach Florida

Yoram Kalak posed as a mover working for Shiva Transport (A very reputable company).

He picked up my household goods but tried to get me to pay 3000 more than the estimate and told me it would cost a lot more if we went t by the scales. We refused to pay.

He put all of our stuff in storage waiting for our house to be ready. After two months of paying for storage we were ready to receive our goods.

He was paid in full for the move and promised delivery within the week. The week passed and no call, nor did he return calls. Finally got thru to him and he claimed he was so busy that he had to hire another drive to bring us our stuff.

He informed me that the shipment was 16040 lbs (fell in with our estimate) and that we would have to pay the extra amount for the weight. When I told him that we would have the 15 dollars when the driver arrived he said he would call me back.

He called me back in an hour and informed me that there had been a mistake and that the load weighed 17060 pounds and that I would need to pay 460 dollars. I told him that we would pay after all had been delivered and we went to the scale. He agreed and said we would have our stuff in 5 days.

Over the course of the next three weeks we did not get our stuff and on the few occasions where we did get ahold of him it was one excuse after another.

I tried to call one day and his phone was disconnected. I started calling around and finally got ahold of someone that informed me my HH goods were in storage and going to be auctioned off that day at 2:00.

I called the storage company and confirmed, I paid the overdue storage and late fees despite that I had already paid Yoram Kalak for said storage.

I have been working with the two companies he defrauded to get me stuff to me at no additional cost.

Yoram Kalak is a crook, and a liar and will do his best to get you to trust him. He will present credentials and show you all of the good paperwork. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN.
