 This is a family affair. Either they are related to each other or they "love", each other you will never know! If you want a professional enviroment to work in then make sure that you fit in there because the place is a HUGE clique. Its owned by a husband and wife, the son works there, and her mom, and a guy who is some kind of cousin. All the other agents are a bunch of sicophants. They have their little inhouse family way that you will not be part of. The owner Dan will be cheap, defensive, and possibly jealous of you despite the fact that he has a huge book of business.

 I signed up with these miscreants despite my better judgement in September 2010. Here is the trick. He gets you appointed with far, far more companies than you actually ever need and when I asked for a release in January 2011 they would not give it to me. Now I,m stuck with all these appointments. They said that if I were release then I would become additional competition for them but what they really want is for you to go away. Insurance sales appointments can take as much as a year to dissapear from your producer list.

 But the real reason is they guy is cheap. Stingy with the comission structure is one thing but, being a jerk because your feelings are hurt is another.

So in the end what I did was ask for voluntary terminations of all of my insurance appointments. Not a problem you might think? It took weeks to get rid of all of them. In the mean time I was unable to work to provide for my family.
