After a transaction online, I was offered through my receipt free shipping on my next order. I was curious what it entailed. So while looking for the information, it took my credit card info and signed me up. The next day I saw the charge for Passport to Fun and immediately cancelled.

During the cancellation call I informed the person I was not interested in any of the products they offered and wanted all cancelled and refunded. They told me the normal rehearsed message "no problem, thank you for your business".

This all occured in early 2007. It is now late 2007 and I have been getting charged since then for Your Savings Club, and when I discovered they were affiliated, I called and tried to explain that I had already cancelled.

First I was told I never cancelled and that this was the first they had ever heard of me.

Then the story changed that they were not affiliated (yet they had all access to all of the accounts).

Then I was told I was supposed to cancel each one separately. Which I asked why signing up for one thing entitles them to sign you up for multiple, which of course they then went back to saying it was the first they had heard from me.

During the conversation, I pointed out I had never used any of their services (which they agreed to) because I had cancelled. Again, arguements and denials were all they could provide.

The most they would do was offer 2 months back, I felt that if they had info of my cancellation, the entire amount should be refunded. They said I agreed to have money taken out and had never cancelled with them in particular. This was the most I could get from them.

There is nothing I can do to change this, however I think that others should be aware that cancelling with someone doesn't always mean you have it taken care of. And now I have to be put out because my card has to be cancelled and I have to wait for a new one.

Beware of both these companies! (and anyone else you might see affiliated with them)
