Yuba Trailers Jimmylynn Adcock , Stephanie Adcock Yuba Trailers delivered my horse trailer at night unfinished and unsound to haul in . Heber Springs , Arkansas

On Sept. 9th 2011 I ordered a custom built 3H slant load bumper pull horse trailer from Yuba Trailers . I went with them because they allowed me to make payments while the trailer was being built and I did not have to finance anything .
In October I let them know I would be paying off my trailer at the end of November and asked if I could pick it up Dec.3rd . This was agreed to by them . Dec. 2 at 9 pm  I finally get a email stating they could not meet us in Birmingham AL and told me personal reasons as to why . They offered to drive the trailer all the way to us for no extra charge on Dec. 7th to make up for the mishape .

 Dec. 7th I get a email with more personal issues as to why they were not coming but di assure me they were leaving the morning of the 8th .
Every day of that week I was given excuse after excuse as to why they were not enroute with my trailer , but not one email stating it was because it was unfinished !
Dec.12th 2:27 a.m. Yuba Trailers finally delivers my trailer . It is late and raining so I glance over the trailer quick and assume all is fine . I pay them the balance in a cashier check from our bank and go back to bed . Jimmy adcock did state he needed to touch some things up but he would stay and do that .
Daylight of Dec. 12th I finally get a good look at this trailer inside and out . The trailer already has rust showing as it was not primered before paint . The windows are not rated for horses and are not for horses trailers at all , they are camper windows . So they do not have the safety bars inside them .

 The stalls are to narrow for most horses . The ramp has a big lip that sticks up above the trailer floor which is a hazard for any horse loading and unloading since they can trip over this . The tack room windows have no frame work around them on the inside , they were merely riveted in . They now leak badly .
The welds are poor quality and the wall between the stall area and tack room has already broke apart at the bottom due to poor welding . There was exposed electrical wires everywhere . Used wheels on the tires which the spray painted after putting new tires on so now the silver spray paint is all over the wheels . In the stall area , the drop down windows alos have the incorrect framework around them . These windows were framed with diamond plate that was cut and bent to shape around the window , leaving sharp edges . They caulked these edges and spray paint over it to hide , horses will chew on this during transport and may get sick .

 I have tried to work this out with Yuba , I agreed to $550 to t least replace the windows . This check bounced causing us a fee . I notified Yuba of this and they stated that as soon as they recieve the copy the bank sent us they will over night me a money order for the $550 plus the $32 dollar fee from our bank . I sent back the copy the bank sent us certified after I made myself a copy . Yuba now refuses to return our calls , emails , facebook messages , text messages , all of them . I have spoke with several attorneys and lawyers , all say to chalk it up as a life lesson . That it will cost more to go after them in fees then I paid for the trailer and in the end I may still get any results . I just took the trailer to another trailer company that builds trailers and had them look it over .
They gave me a invoice for $2075 , which is just to get the trailer safe for hauling horses in . This does not cover the other things needing finished on this trailer . They stated there was some frame work issues that are weak spots and need to be addressed soon or before a horse is hauled in it .

 I paid good money for this trailer and have tried to be fair and work with Yuba since they seem to have financial issues , but the check bounced and they now refuse to respond to this issue . All I was asking for was the $550 we agreed to now I would like a full refund ! $6799.00 + $32 in fees for the bad check they gave us .
