hey buddy.... you forgot to mention the olympic size wimming pool purchased and put in storrage until they find a place to plant it !!!! these people are hipacritics out of control with no relief in sight. you say vote, i am not aware it does any good. seems to get worse. good bless out town.

The creepy yucaipa city council gave the yucaipa disposal company ( aka trashy trash company ) permission to increase the commercial trash rates.The majority of mobile home parks are on commercial rates & the trash company really hit us hard each time those rats increase their rates.They are not increasing residential service this yr due to hard times.HA...what about us ? Such greed for uncaring people.I DESPISE these bums just like the oil companies,speculators & politicians.UGH!!

I just received my annual 90 day rent increase notice.My rent increase is the most ever since i have been living in yucaipa,ca.Its bad enough the city council nearly doubled the rent control fee,now i have to deal with this.My sp.rent increases on the avg of $10.00 mo per yr.That adds up especially when you're low income,disabled,senior & on a fixed income.

Awhile back the yucaipa city council gave the mhp owners a "raise" & thats when the crap hit the fans.the city council did NOT have to raise the rent control fee no matter what lies they spin.Last yr they collected 500k & this yr its expected to be near 1 million.Alot of the money has been spent on the valleybreeze mhp court case.All this due to selfish,foul,horrid,greedy valleybreeze mhp owners.

I dont mind paying rent control fee but $3.92 mo is too much.Now..the paramedic fee of $4.34 is a TOTAL ripoff.The yucaipa city council has no young people & they are stuck in 1968.A idiot council member who is a animal vet named allen Adrusys is obsessed with getting rid of plastic bags in yucaipa & the weasle disabled his email address.

Since the city council gave the ok for the yucaipa disposal company to raise trash fees it has gotten out of control.( aka trashy trash company ).The city council is out of touch with whats going on in yucaipa & they should all be replaced with caring,in touch council members.Last but not least the yvwd disabled their email address.Those greedy creeps are charging $30.00 mo for each coach space in mh parks.Such d**n cowards.NOTHING WORSE THEN A COWARD!!!!

I have been here over 27 years. I have had good times here and feel the need to say Yucaipa is getting ready to turn into the ghetto, just lower Yucaipa" Dunlap" The city council is putting over 1500 low income apartments knowing the drama that will occur thay dont care. They dont live here. They should of thought about that when they were having all the ILLEGALS build chapman hights. No work for the local white male who would do any work but cant find a job at a company who hires white laborers. We have no place for kids to hang out and there are over 70 drug infested trailer parks and we need more low income housing. council needs to get a grip on reality and look at whats happening to the town instead of there bank accounts. "CORRUPTION and KICKBACKS" should be councils new name!!

The yucaipa city council & jennifer shankland refuse to disclose accountability for the rent control increase.The city council also charges every household a rip off paramedic fee of $4.34 mo.I just found this out today.What a bunch of greedy creeps!

I wouldn't trust ANY city council. The city council here in town is one of the worst I've ever seen. The price for an EMS run is around $450 dollars. Years ago I got picked up by EMS and the cost was $250. I asked them where they came up with the $250 price. They told me that only one out of five runs got paid for, so the one that did pay, paid for the other four that didn't have insurance or wouldn't pay. We have a large number of folks from "down south". Anyway, the city council can claim they haven't raised taxes in the last 20 years, which is true BUT they have allowed the local taxing authority to raise the appraised value of property over 10 to 20 PERCENT each year for the last 20 years. Talk about a rip. They don't even call them taxes but fees.

The "fee" for my alarm permit, at my store, use to be $25 for TWO years. Now it's $50 for ONE year. They're adding "fees" to everything they can think of. As for the "s****.>

Okay instead of spending all of this time venting about how bad this city council is why not get up from your computer and actually do something.

Have you gone to the council meetings? Have you gotten other people involved in your area? If you have then take the next step.

Start a recall petition against them. This is where you can basically kick them out of office if they are not performing to what you want to do. It does not take much to do this except time. All you need is a percentage of the voters to sign a petition and get a special election scheduled. Once the election is scheduled if enough people feel the way you do they will be out. Go to your county Board of Elections and they will give you all of the details.

This is a very effective method if you remember California kicked out the governor a few years ago, and just a few weeks ago a community outside of San Diego did the same thing.

If you don't want to spend the time to do these things then STOP complaining about them.

The Yucaipa City Council are bottom of the cellar politicians & the absolute worse city council i have seen in quite a few yrs.Rather then build a animal shelter or hire another animal control officer or a few police officers,the creeps have a lil park built in front of the 13 million dollar palace they call city hall.The city spent 750k of the tax payers money on that park.UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

The city of yucaipa takes $4.34 mo from every mhp coach owner in yucaipa,ca.They dont pass the lame fee on to the apts,condos & house residents in yucaipa.Something just dont seem right here.The city council are pathetic people & like i said before....they ONLY care whats in their best intrest.They should all be fired & sent to Iraq.We need decent,law abiding city council members & not greedy cowards.They are horrible horrible people.WOW!!!

Yucaipa city council members are Mayor d**k Driddell, Allen Adrusys, Bob Lampi, Tom Masner & Denise Hoyt. The city council violate laws, lie through their teeth, swear oaths to uphold the us constitution that they knew they would not uphold. I HATE having to give my hard earned money to these 5 greedy creeps/cowards.($8.26 mo/$99.12 yr)I wouldnt mind if it was justified but it is not.Its all about taking as much money as you can from the residents of yucaipa incl the low income,elderly,seniors & disabled.The only ones the city council is protecting is themselves.
