After ten months I still have not received a refund check from Z-Tel Comminications. No one at this company has a clue how to inform their accounting department on how to send refunds.
Customers can not directly talk to accounting to help solve their problems, that is not allowed I was told. You are also not alowed to talk to managers just supervisor. Well after calling month after month saying my refund check of $158.00 had been sent than calling when it did not arrive.
I was told sorry guess no one sent it out. What type of company would be that disorganized and not know what is going on.
Like I said once before it has been ten months still no refund from Z-Tel commminications. Oh by the way the last person at Z-Tel I talked to said would you like to come back to Z-Tel I said Hell No.
You can't manage to get my refund check, you don't get my business or anyone elses I can tell about this.

Every company goes through these kinds of problems, especially one that is expanding as quickly as Z-Tel. When I was in Business school back in the mid-1980s, I used to hear the same complaints about MCI. I too have had some problems with Z-Tel. It took them 3 weeks to get my service turned on. But that hiccup is already long forgotten, as their profit sharing plan is visionary and well worth dealing with their growth pains.
