As a trucking company Z Transportation is perhaps the worst of the worst. With a high turn over rate it's a wonder that they even exist. Driver's beware of this bogus Company. 1. As a driverr for this company, it is a Log Book company no E-logs. You the driver will be required to purchase your own Log Books. This purchase is non refundable 2.it's a forced load company. There Facebook page offers you equipment that is 24 month old. They offer you 50 CPM. You get 45cpm. 3.Your link of communication is your smart phone.
You are dispatched via. Your phone, You are required to send all bills as well as load information through your devise. You will not be refunded for the use of you phone nor tolls paid out of pocket. They will flye you to Jersy, But your bags are not payed for. If an when you quit you'll be required to pay your ticket home. They don't offer Insurance. They give you a 3 hour Orientation. If you get an advance they charge you an additional 27% on that advance. Their Facebook page sounds good, however it is totally bogus.

A lot of the things that this driver wrote do not apply to Z transportation at all and I would like to share some actual facts about the company. 1) We let the drivers choose if they want to run on E-logs or if they still want to use paper logs which do not cost any money for the driver!! 2) We do not have forced dispatch when going to NYC but everywhere else in the country is forced dispatch because we travel all 48 and tell the drivers this right off the bat so that there's no surprise later. 3) We have 2018 freightliners right now. 4) If you actually read the website you would have seen that we offer .45cpm for Dry Van and .50cpm for Flatbed and that information is not hidden anywhere. 5) complaining that we buy you a plane ticket to NJ but dont pay for your bags??? Would you rather have us book you a bus or train ticket instead?? 6) We have EZ pass so I don't know how we make you pay for the tolls?..This just shows that the things being said do not apply to our company in any way. We offer Miles,Money,and good equipment so give us a call and find out for yourself at 201-903-6888.
