Chronological Timeline

July 2007, store visit, Did not see items in store front; told my sister-in-law and she just happened to know the previous owner, Zilkia Martins; received an e-mail with Zilkia Martins phone numbers

Calls were made in an effort to pickup my items, but Zilkia said that she could not help me get my items out of storage because she needed her husband to do it.  I needed to collect all of my items for an upcoming move to Washington DC that would temporarily last for 9 months.  My home residence was still valid in San Antonio, Texas, less than 10 minutes away from Mrs. Martins and also my family members were still in San Antonio, Texas in case they needed to pick up the items for me.

Upon my return from Washington DC, I was unable to contact Zilkia Martins and finally spoke to her in January 2010.  I was told on January 21, 2010 that my items were donated and that I would receive a check for the write off value.  I gave my address and contact information to Zilkia.

I was upset with the fact that Zilkia had means to contact me before she did away with my items.  I believe that the contract that was signed on May 27, 2005 is valid for a current business, not for an entity that closed; therefore my items should have given back to me.  My items that were removed from the business were in her possession which should have been returned.

On February 1, 2010, I called Zilkia for an update on my check, which she stated was $279.  I was told that a check was put in the mail and she wasnt sure why I hadnt received it.

I sent an e-mail to Zilkia at her current employers e-mail address to again request status and leave contact information.  The e-mail was also followed-up by a phone call on February 15, 2010, 11:32 am, requesting that she stop payment on the check that was supposedly mailed to me because I hadnt received one.  I explained to her that I am a truthful person and do not feel the need to lie about something that I had not received.  Zilkia raised her voice because she was at home and busy cookingshe said that she would have to call her bank and verify the status of the check.

Mar 2, 2010, cell phone, 3:51 pm, Zilkia said that she forgot to send a me the check and that she would send a new check

April 28, 2010, office phone, 12:52 pm, Zilkia said that she would stop by my office on April 29 during her lunch break of 11:00 am through 1:00 pm--she did not.

May 10, 2010, voice mail, 9:00 am

May 26, 2010, cell phone, 10:25 am, Zilkia wants me to send her a text because she is out of town until next Thursday, June 3, 2010
