Zoosk.com Fake profiles stole money from me San Francisco Connecticut

I signed up with Zoosk.com dating in February 2017 and signed up for 6 months subscription. On March 1,2017 a man replied to me by the name of Davey Hall and asked me for my cell number so he could text me later and introduce himself. I gave it to him and he indeed texted with like Hi amd Davey Hall from the dating site Zoosk.com 

We introduced ourselves and the communication started. I of course googled him but nothing strange came up and also checked his facebook page that was a fake profile as well I found out later. He stated that he is 52 years old and a widower of 6 years and that his wife died of lung cancer and he has a nine year old daugher named Mariam. He explained he was born in Madrid and is orginally from Spain and both his parents died and he only has a younger sister named Nino who is watching his daughter while he is travelling for business. He said his dream is to buy a house in the USA and bring his daughter back to live with us. 

We exchanged pictures of ourselves and family members and we became pretty comfortable with each other. After a week of texting at 20 times a day this man said he had to travel to Texas to sign a big construction project. He explained he had to stay in CA for a week to meet his business partners and then when paperwork was finalized he had to fly to Lebanon to finalize the business deal to build a highway in Syria. 

He flew to Syria and we continued to text at least 20-30 times a day and the romance became stronger and we started to care for each other so it seemed. 

After a month in Syria he explained he is expecting a $250 Million from the Syrian goverment to pay for his big project and he needed to pay 230 workers he hired from Africa. 

He sent me a link to the bank website (that was created as well by this criminal) where the $250 Million will be depost. He gave me his personal bank log in info of this bank to show me that the $250 Million cleared two days later. He also showed me that he withdraw $10,000 to buy me gifts to spoil me and he sent me pictures of very expensive watch and several nice handbags and asked for my ring size so he could buy me a ring and necklaces for my 3 girls. He proposed through text that he want to marry me and when he is back from his trip and wants to start a life together. Apparently, he couldn't wire transfer his money to his business JP Morgan Chase account in the USA due to owning taxes and fees of $250,000 to the Syrian Bank named First Rural Bank. 

He said he has to liquidate all his savings in Spain but he was short by $100,000 and he will ask all his friends to help raise the money so he could leave Syria. 

To make the story short I felt sorry for him and send him cash of $35,000 by money gram to Roland Nino in Ghana because Money gram wouldn't allow me send money to Syria due to the civil war going on. Davey said Roland Nino is a personal friend and will pick up the money at a money gram location and then bring the cash to Davey to his hotel. 

The texting and Davey promises to come back to USA so our dreams will be fullfiled he alwasy said took 41/2 months and lot of false promises and lies he made up during that time. 

The icing on the cake was when he finally said he is leaving for the airport in two hours but he couldn't leave because the street outside weren't safe because fighting between the Syrian regime and rebels escalated. Then I didn't hear from him the whole night and the next morning I got a text that said: first in the arabic language and then englisch and said the following: Here is the Syrian police; the hotel where Davey stayed was attacked by suicide bomber and they sent 3 awful pictures and they are taken this owner of the phone to the hospital. They didnt' tell me if Davey was alive or not. I totally lost it and thought for sure Davey was dead and googled right away to see if there was a bomb attack in Syria near his hotel. I found the news about it and indded there was a bomb attack near his hotel and killed 21 people.

I was devasted and called the Spanish embassy and then a few days later the US embassy to find Davey in the hospitals to save his life. Then the next day I got another text message claiming to be the nurse of Davey and telling me he is alive but lost a lot of blood and needs new blood asap. to safe his life and if I want him alive I need to buy the blood for $400 and I again send money by money gram to Roland Nino so he could pick it up and bring to her. Then the next day the nurse continued communiciating with me about Davey's bad condition and wasn't sure if he want survive. She also claimed the Syrian government ordered the bomb attack on Davey' hotel when he was on the way to the airport so they didn't had to pay him the remaining $99 Million the Syrian Bank "supposed to wire transfer to his USA business account. She explained the Syrian government couldn't afford to loose so much money leaving the country due to the current civil war a turmoil going on for the past 7 years. 

The Spanish and US embassy both contacted me after investigating my info I provided and confirmed that they couldn't find Davey in any hospital and there was no man registered as Spanish citizen or ever left a Spanish airport and this entire story was made up and is a scam and fraud. They advised I shoud report it this case to the FBI because these criminals were so professionals scamming innocent woman who only want to find true love on these websites. 

I am a single mom with three children and survived a bad divorce and was trying to rebuild my life the past year and hoping to find love again through a dating site. All my savings are gone and my credit is destroyed due to this scam by these criminals. Please be aware and stay away from Zoosk.com. It is disgusting and inmoral that these criminals use Syria for their made up story and lies that everyone would have sympathy and trying to help to get a person out of Syria asap.
