On Feb. 29,2016 I purchased hearing aids from Zounds Hearing and was informed I coukd return the them within 30 days if I was not satisfied. These hearing aids do not work for me!! I had an appointment with Zounds on 3/21/16 at which time I was going to return thier hearing aids. My problem begins with my wife passing away 3/17/16 which made impossible for me to make the appointment on 3/21/16 since that was the date of my wifes funeral. My daughter made a new appointment for me but it was after the 30 days. I was told by Zounds there was nothing they could do since I missed the 30 day window regardless of the circumstances.
I have written the home office several times but am always given a run around. I have written the credit card company to report this fraudulent sale. They contacted Zounds who responded in nothing but un-truths. I am at a loss as to where I can go for help. I told the credit caed company I would give up the $1200,00 I have alreasdy paid toward the $5198.00 Balanc
I returned the Hearing aids to Zounds on 8/22/16 and informed them that thier product did not work. They are now telling me the hearing aids are corroded and may have damaged them. Thus making hard to resell, I find that hard to beleive since I only used them for 3 or 4 weeks
I beleive I am being taken advantage of because I am a senior and because of the unusual circumstances surriounding my missed appointment. I also beleive they are selling an inferior product!

While I can't prove this rebuttal comes from Zounds, it sounds exactly like the kind of treatment Ive received from them over the past five months. So thank you very much for helping me to further illustrate my point. Never have I dealt with such an unprofessional business this deficient in customer service.
Please don't make the same mistake I did. Don't trust your money or hearing to this fraudulent company.

What I find funny is that you DID wear and use them for FOUR WEEKS!!! So this "inferior" product was good enough to use but NOT good enough to PAY FOR!!! YOU had the opportunity to return them BEFORE the 30 days were up. But YOU did not do that. YOU waited until the LAST MIN and expect that YOUR sob story is going to make THEM take them back. Sorry but this is ALL on YOU!!! Odds are that YOU got them and NOW that you have to pay for your wifes death, YOU are claiming a inferior product and claiming you were ripped off when the REALITY is that YOU have a ton of extra bills to pay. Firstly, YOU should be ashamed of yourself. YOU KNOW that YOU have not been ripped off. YOU were told ALL of the costs of the hearing aids WHEN YOU GOT THEM!!!! So we KNOW it wasnt about the price. Secondly, IF they were so bad then WHY did you continue to USE THEM!!! IF they are SO inferior and dont work for YOU then WHY did you keep using them?? I can tell you why, THEY WORKED PERFECTLY!!!! Its ONLY NOW as YOU are faced with the extra cost of burying someone, NOW they are "Inferior" and YOU have been "Ripped off". Face it, YOU are a lieing sack of manure!! YOU did NOT return them within the 30 days given to YOU and YOU are commiting a online crime by placing DEFAMATION because YOU dont want to pay for the item YOU purchased. Do us all a favor and keep your untruths OFF the web. People like YOU show us ALL how it doesnt matter your age, YOU will say ANYTHING to get out of the responsibility YOU took on. Face it YOU are on the hook for the FULL AMOUNT and all because YOU wouldnt take a hour of YOUR time to take the hearing aids back. YOU CHOSE TO BE LAZY AND THIS IS THE COST OF YOUR LAZINESS!!!!
