On July 15th, 2015 I decided to try the much hearalded ZUJI.COM.SG for a business class ticket originated in Singapore and routed Singapore-Bangkok-Taipei. I ran my search on Zuji.com.sg, found the flights with Thai Airways, purchased and received an e-mail confirmation with e-tkt receipt within 3 minutes of entering my payment. Just what most of us have come to expect

Then the real fun begins...

On July 17th, 2015, 36 hours after purchase and on the day of travel( 4 hours before my flight), I receive the following e-mail from Zuji

  Please note that your booking (reference above) with Thai Airways has been cancelled

  Unfortunately, the information has not passed our internal security processing

  We suggest you contact your local travel agent or the airline direct in this instance.

   If you have any questions, please contact us

First, my card was charged at the time of purchase on July 15th so there was no issue with the payment. I clearly see the debit on my card. 

Second, if the purchase is subject to secondary verification THEN JUST SAY SO. DON'T SEND ME A CONFIRMATION AND E-TKT RECEIPT WHICH I RELIED ON BELIEVING I HAD A TICKET ONLY TO CANCEL IT 36 HOURS LATER. NO WHERE ON ZUJI'S CONFIRMATION E-MAILS DOES IT SAY THIS IS A "TENTATIVE CONFIRMATION SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION"

Third, they have no concept of responsibility. For whatever reason, they felt the transaction was suspect. I fully understand that they have to protect their interests but when I call them and they say they can't help because the ticket has been cancelled they left me HIGH AND DRY. The flight was sold out and I was stuck in Singapore

 

ZUJI'S confirmations aren't worth the paper they're printed on! I was flying in from Doha connecting via Singapore to Bangkok as all of the flights to Bangkok are sold out. Now, Zuji holds a seat and then cancels it giving it to somebody else and stranding ME!

 

IF YOU DEAL WITH ZUJI, BE PREPARED TO GET STANDED. THEY DID IT TO ME AND THEY WILL DO IT TO YOU
