Zynga games, which has the enormously popular "Mafia Wars" online game played by millions, all over the world, offers up (in all of their games) things that one can purchase through credit card transactions.  These are virtual "things" called "loot" that a player can purchase through "God Father Points."  Some of the "Godfather Points" are "earned" through various "jobs" that are achieved within the game and these are "free" points.  When you level up, these points can SLOWLY add up and you can use them to purchase almost any type of thing within the game that can add to your advantage while playing.  I didn't use "real" money to obtain points, but used up 30 GF points to purchase 3 "Black Friday Special" items.  These never showed up in my list of "boost" or "loot" items.  Also, "free gifts" that friends send (another promo they use to get more people to play) never showed up on the list, either.  I filed 4 formal complaints to the Zynga forum and they have sent me 4 auto responses.  I have warned people on my "Face Book" social network "wall" (I have 530 friends about) NOT to spend REAL MONEY through the constant credit card promos that they shove at us in every way; that is fine if they want to make money but when "earned" points disappear and they won't reimburse, (I'm sure this has happened to thousands of people) who can trust them to deliver if real purchases are made.  I'm sure some unsuspecting people are wasting cash trying to recover what they didn't get and were supposed to get for free.  This is an outrage and an obvious ploy to exploit gamers, who in the heat of the moment, will pay the real cash to catch up.  They know what they are doing, I'm sure.  There are millions of rabid and dedicated players.  If they can deliver "Godfather Points" if a person hauls out a credit card and pays them big $$, I'm sure they can deliver when a person loses "free" or "earned" points because of some unknown glitch.  I doubt it is a glitch since I've had no delivery or reimbursement.  Since they seem to "upgrade" the game, it's funny that this isn't one of those things (others have complained also) that they can fix.
