Assurance Wireless is ripping poor people that can't afford a cell phone if the government wasn't paying for it, by making you spend any money you have left on your account at ten cents a miniute. But if you add twenty dollars you can have 1000 miniutes. My sister Jacqeline Clarke who resides in Dallas TX at 3823 Bonnieville Road. 75216. It is a ripoff to make a poor person to come up with $20.00 to talk freely or spend their last $8.00 that she has on her account at ten cents a miniutes and not allow her to turn her $8.00 into miniutes. I was told if I wanted talk to my sister it would be better for her and our family that I put the $20.00 on her account or she will not be talking to anybody until 11-10-12, the day her miniutes renew. I feel like we are being scammed and ripoff in order to talk to our sister. Our family is in CT. and she is the only one in TX and have children and grandchildren in CT. Where do they expect the person with assurance wireless phone to get moer money especially since it was their fault that that her phone was cut off for five days. I think the government should pay more attention to these free programs that they pay for because wherevere there is money someone will find a way to ripoff the poor or the rich. these people do not discriminate. My sister jackie (the assurance wireless consumer) and myself is getting ripoff by assurance wireless a Free government cell phone provider, offered to people who has low income and this provider is making the consumer need more money or talk at ten cents a miniute. We as a Country will not even accept those rates on our home,cell, or any other means of commnicate phones. why should Assurance wireless get away ripping off a government program. My sister's # is (214)927-8147 please help her get her miniutes back and allow her to use her $8.00 on her account to purchase minutes not use them at tens cent a miniute.
