Fandango excess fees, difficult to redeem internet

I received a $25 gift card and was looking forward to seeing a movie. I redeemed two adult tickets. The gift card redemption process was cumbersome and the instruction were unclear. There is a 10 service fee. After redeeming the tickets and service fee there is still some value left on the gift card. But when I redeem the remainder of the gift card value, there will be another fee.

That means that the $25 card is worth $20 in value. A 20% service fee, that better than, the local bookmaker charges for a late payment, but I know he is a crook. Fandango sells a gift card that is more costly and difficult to redeem, than just going to the theater a purchasing your ticket.  No value, no service and no befit to purchaser or precipitants.
