newegg newegg is a faud that takes advantage of hard working American Service Members, Internet

I purchased a refurbished computer from newegg on July 12th. It arrived on the 18th. I opened the box to
find a poorly packaged computer. The computer was scratched up and dirty. It did not resemble any referb I had purchased before.

I hooked up the computer and started the setup proses.
I didnt even get the computer fully setup before I got my first blue screen of death. After three days and five blue screens of death I call customer support. I was issued a RMA and shipping label and told to send the item back. I
carefully packaged the entire computer and all components in the box with all of the original packing material.

Once they received the computer it took three days for them to email me and say, We received back item#83-157-235 DT HP |P6777C-B BV591AAR#ABA REC with physical damage.  The bezel around the monitor is detached and the screen is cracked.  There are no signs of shipping damage or tampering to the packaging.  Physical damage to an item
voids the item's warranty and will not be accepted by the vendor in this condition. To me this is an accusation saying I broke it and sent it back. I did not damage the computer in any way. It is insulting that my honor and integrity
would be called in question by newegg.

I promptly called them to dispute the claim they are making and was told they would investigate it and call me back the next day. The next day was a Friday and I did not get a call. I called them again on Monday to inquire about the status and was told the representative I talked to will call me back the next day. I called them again today and they said the
results are not back yet so I got a little upset and was about to ask for a manager when the representative puts me on hold for a few minutes. When she comes back on the phone she tells me the pictures from the item and the
shipping box just made it to management for review and I will have an email by COB.

Well here it is much later than close of business and I did not get the email. (Big surprise) I need the computer I paid for to do collage work. I am currently working on a computer that is barely functioning. Now it seems I will be stuck with a computer that cost me a substantial amount of money and does not work. Newegg is a fraud and is ripping off
everyone they can. I would recommend finding one of the other more reputable competitors to make your purchase from. I know I will be.
