Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff, took my money and ran, ignored my phone calls, rude Fort Lauderdale Florida

I have to tell you how disappointed I was when I learned of this rip off company a little too late. I am from Canada and was looking for a chance to go on my first vacation. Ever! I received a voucher for $1,600 and a whole bunch of extras thrown in.

In the meantime, I was telling my friends of this so-called bargain and my friends have heard of Ramada Resorts and they too have received vouchers in the mail. When I started asking more questions and have been on many websites where people have been ripped off, I decided to cancel.

They tried to up-grade my package and eventually they told me I could not get my money back. They ignored my calls and even left a rude message saying that I should take the vacation package cause i wont be getting my money back.

I've lost over $500 dollars. I had to change my credit card so they would stop withdrawing money from my account.

I'm all the way in Canada and they figured that I won't go thru with any legal actions because they were hard to get a hold of and I wasn't about to spend money fighting for my money.

I hope someone out there reads this and helps others not make the same mistake as i did.

I don't make enough money to take my daughter to Disneyland and all my savings were taken away from these horrible people.

I'm at the point where I don't trust American businesses at all.
