Currently I am a soldier that is deploying to Iraq I wanted to order a computer from sears.com but did not have a credit card I have had for years (since 1995) but still have an accout that is active. I went to a store in tacoma and asked a sales person to help me order one. that person did. Appearntly he had to verify my identity which he did. By asking numerous questions, he then went through the ordering the computer on the phone with the call center. The sales person at the store told me that it would arive by the 22 of the month and I could call back and talk to them on another number to verify that the order was placed. I called them back in a matter of 5 min to make shure it was good this was on the 10th of the month they told me it would be 3 days before I would get a conformation E-mail.

On June 10th 2006 the E-Mail was sent to me the same day I guessed it took a while to make it to my accout. I had not checked it. allong with several other sears adds. I made several call's to ensure my computer was being shiped to me. neadless to say on the 20th of the month my order was still prosessing. They did not have the ability to check on the computer being sent. They told me the only way they could contact the 3rd party that they were getting my 2000 dollar lap top from was by E-Mail aparently some one claiming to be a manager named tim. whether he is or not I dont know. for 6 days I called and tried to get them to give me somthing where this computer was in there shipping process no answer. Mind you according to the conformation E-Mail it to be shiped on the 15th and was not.

Who pays money for somthing and dont get a product tracking number. They debited my account and I still dont have my computer. Not to mention that the other computer I ordered for my wife is here. No lap top, kicker I had my wife call the on line care pepole just to see what is going on. They told me the fix, we are stoping your order and we will be crediting your account. The Reason we are out of that model yet it was avaliable up until 18th or 19th of the month on line. PS. Thanks for a boring Year in Iraq. "I still have not got my money back." hope to soon

update foud a way to go around the system you hit a stone wall when talking to the sears online personel. talked to a credit card person at the 1-800 number for sears. gary was on the phone I talked to him about the problem I spent about 15 min to let him know the situation he called the on line store and was hellping me deal with them "3rd party medatior" troy told me the accout was frozen the sears online person and that he could not look at it. He asked me to call back when he was able to look at the account.

I Called back the next day and talked to two other numbers. Don, david two numbers not given to me by sears personel don returned my call shortley after I called. I was on the phone with another sales rep at the time. they told me they were willing to credit my accout with 2000 dollars and upgrade my computer for the same price but they still could not tell me wether I would have it by the time i deployed He told me he would call me back I asked for a order conformation number. but havent got one yet.


lyn the costumer agent who I talked to at sears credit was extremly helpful and was able to get on the phone with sears.com on a three way phone call don promised that he would credit the difference back to my account but the only way to do that was to get my card limit increesed or I could go to another store and purchase a computer from them, with the credit back on my card. I cant use my card at any where but sears.
I got my card increesed hopfully I get the new one they promised before I leave./
Or I am still going to be sucking in Iraq.

Situation Not Resolved I will Keep Updating you.
I Still have all the names and personel numbers written down I dont forget
