I went to smartstyle and signed up for a haircut,a family of 5 signed up after me. well, i guess its more lucrative to do 5 haircuts instead of 1,so she asked me my name then skipped over me. When i looked in the mirroe,she was cutting someone elses hair. I guess you get that going to a Walmart to get a haircut!!!!!

This is so irritating!

I am an ex-employee of smartstyle as of Monday. Not to knock your bad customer service, however i wish people would stop saying "WALMART" haircut(responding to other msg)!!!  The company i admit is not one of the best, however the stylist in there go and take the same state board test that other stylists from great clips, haircuttery, supercuts, and independent salons do!  So just because it is in walmart does not mean we are less able, or creative. We all obtained the same license!  And you could go to the most upscale salon and come out not liking your service.  So pls consider that.  And sometimes thats where the low morale comes from, people refering to us stylist as "WALMART" stylists!

Did you bring it to their attention that you were "skipped over"?? It could very well have been unintentional. After all, a family of 5 in a Walmart hair salon normally causes quite a ruckus -- they likely did not even notice you were still waiting. Next time simply say, "excuse me - I believe I was next." You see, it is very easy to rectify.

(On a side note, it is probably best that they did not cut your hair. You don't really want a Walmart haircut, do you??! Think of it as if they did you a favor that day.)
