Mark Tapp of San Antonio and Solavei Phone Service got my money but never delivered phone service to 5 phones. I listened to Mark Tapp's Sales speech on March 02,2013 convincing my wife and me to port over our family's 5 cell numbers to Solavei. His sales pitch told us that if we worked hard, we could make up to $20,000.00 per month residual income for selling others Solavei phone service.

Sounds pretty good doesnt it? But if you cant get DATA OR 4G AS PROMISED and if you cant get your phones completely ported over to SOLAVEI, how in the world would you ever be able to sell Solavei to anyone else? They got my money but Ive never gotten the service I was promised and this is 2 weeks later. I was promised 24 hours. Dont trust Solavei and Mark Tapp. Neither one has ever made things right as promised. Mark Tapp is a founding member of Solavei and wont fix our 5 phone NO SERVICE problem. This has cost my family stress, frustration and loss of money. Dont trust either Mark Tapp or Solavei.

My comments:

I've been in network marketing for over a year and noticed how mlm companies tend to get people involved by giving them the chance to earn residual income. However, as someone mentioned, only 3% succeed while 97% fail. Last year with no experience I grew a 1,250 organization in my last mlm company, who had to spend from $225 to $1,500 in coffee. A year after, I looked back and noticed I didn't change anyone's life as I expected. I had not experience and didn't know people weren't going to make it. I decided to cancel my membership and stay away from mlm... Solavei came, I analized it really well and notice how a $0 investment ($0 because people already pay their phone bill) could get a lot of people to make a little bit of money. Then I talked to one of the founding members who told me "Daniel, understand, the philosophy at Solavei isn't to make a few millionaires but millions of people making a little. I loved that way to think so I joined.

Now 3 months later, I currently have a network of over 250 people, a rank of Thousandaire (residual of over $1,000/mo) 2 people with same rank under me, free cellphone service with much better coverage in my area than: Sprint, Metro PCS, Boost Mobile, and others (Except att and verizon). I reached the $1k a month after I joined (2hrs per day, as mentioned I have my own company)

So to sumarize, I've found that people who critic do it for two reasons, either they are trying to make Solavei look bad for competitive reasons, or they are just too ignorant of the facts and rather criticise because they tried and failed.

My last comment: everyone has the right to try new things, and my suggestion to everyone is to never ever let anyone tell you can't do it because the reason they tell you that is due to the fact they can't do it themselves. Give it a try, study the system, you won't lose anything if you try, and if you don't like it, the company will give you your money back within 14 days of your sing up date...

And for those who feel scammed, send me a private email, I will make sure to give you your money back myself and send you a check from my earnings, just prove that you were ripped off and send me a copy of your statement with the charge and I will send you a check to your location, here is my email address:dcruz@aleconinc.com

Pat and Laura...I am writing only to respond so others might see the "rest of the story" and the full truth.  First, it is important for those who do not know Solavei to understand it is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) of T-Mobile.  Solavei is on the T-Mobile towers and in San Antonio the towers have been upgraded and it is fully advertised that 3G/4G is capable in this city even with the iPhones.  You live in the outskirts of the city; but, as you also know, I brought my Android phone to be sure that I had 4G coverage at your home before enrolling you into the plan.  I showed you both the bars on the phone before we proceeded.  Unlike any other cell carrier, I actually spent my earned income and time to drive to your home and was concerned enough to watch the bars on my phone, even on the back roads to see if the coverage was showing well.  T-Mobile has over 3.5 million iPhones on its service and in April 2013 is releasing its own iPhone.

We were not able to on-board the phones at the time I was at your house because of several issues: (1) it takes time to port the number; (2) we later found out you had not unlocked the phones (even though you assured me they were unlocked); (3) and, you could not supply your appropriate information from your current carrier to make notification of the desired change.  So, when I left the home, I believed, as you did, we would have no issues.  The monies collected were paid directly to Solavei and your contract with no monthly commitment was solely with Solavei.  You and I did not exchange any fees or monies.  I did; however, give you about $20 worth of SIM cards which I paid for and did not ask for any reimbursement.

Pat, I would have liked to help you!  Why have I not been able to?  You called me twice...cursed me, threatened me, and hung up on me.  My wife heard one of the calls and agreed with me that it was in no ones best interest to continue to take your calls.  You have customer service's number and your contract is with Solavei.  I simply referred the service.  In fact, I am certain I will make no money of the referral.  My cost to do business with you was a negative $50-$75 plus my time.  The only way I would be paid a referral income is if you decided to keep the service.  In your contract, which you agreed to, you have a 14-day right to cancel.  It is in every cell carrier contract.  You could have easily exercised that right.

Finally, here are a couple of suggestions if you are going to use your unlocked phones on Solavei or any other service, you might want to go to the iOS settings and update.  Instructions are on the web on how to do this.  Google "updating iOS on iPhone".  Most older phones need to be updated.  Also, for the Android phone, the issue was much simpler...it simply needed to be unlocked.  The phone was a Samsung Galaxy 3.  My phone is a Samsung Galaxy 2 and I was getting four bars at 4G.  You and Laura had told me the phones were unlocked the day I visited.  Later, you told me Laura was getting them "unlocked".  I tried to apologize to you for any aggravation...you even refused to accept my apology.  I pray blessings on your family and hope all is well.  Mark
