I read the response from the person known as "baker" so, baker we all know who you are, you work in the office of Hoosier Tradewinds (after all tradewinds is located on bakers corner) so, this is why you are so delighted to work for this company. You know how this company works, they steal money from the drivers escrow accounts, they constantly pay drivers with hot checks, or they don't pay them at all, or they give you no pay because they have trumped up some charges that they make up. They have a garage, they over charge their drivers for repairs, which are usually the wrong parts or used parts you got off broken down trucks, drivers are not given invoices for any of the work they are charged for, and the amount charged to the driver can change even after they give you an invoice, after you ask for over and over again. The mayor of Westfield Indiana is the owner of this company, and I wonder if knows how the truck drivers are treated? This company leases trucks and 6 mos. before the truck is paid off, they terminate the drivers and their truck lease, without any notification and they make up reasons for the termination, then they lease out the truck again to the next driver and terminate their lease just like the did the last driver, they make a lot of money off the money they steal from the only people who make this company, the drivers. This company will rip you off and when they are done, they will just dump you off where ever with no money, no food, no transportation to get back home. This company is ran by thieves. 

I've worked for tradewinds for just under two years and i'm also one of three people to complete there the lease program.I fought tooth and nail to complete it and if i didn't have strong backing i would have lost everything at tradewinds... Now with that being said i've had checks bounce time after time. I  personally know of drivers that have had the same thing happen to them, and this is not a once in a while thing. Drivers are getting locked up for back child support, the founds are being taken for it through tradewinds but not being paid,other drivers are completing there lease and not getting there trucks.You can't get your home time even when you put in for it three weeks in advance. The list go's on 

but what i'm writing for is the fact that they owe me money for performance bond and d2. They are not a Christian company (we exist to revolutionize the transportation industry by modeling christ in the way we do business)How when there dot starts with 666 and then inter-office is satan's play house? Yes there is good,but much more bad at tradewinds. If you are a driver looking to do what you love don't touch this company,and if you need a job to take care of your self and family run don't walk away from this company. I'm putting it in the wind......

I am an owner operator that recently just left Tradewinds in January of 2011. I had to leave due to my wife becoming sick. It had nothing to do with the company. They are great. I started with them 3 years ago as a Lease Purchase driver. The company did hit some rough times just likeevery trucking company did. They did file Chapter 11 reorganization but theyexited over2 years ago and have paid all creditors 100% with interest. They are outstanding people to work for. I wish I could still be there. I have never had a check bounce as you say. I do know that if you mess with them they don't mess around. If you abandone equipment, steal fuel, etc. they will put stop payments on checks but never do it if it was not justified.

I just wanted to write because I am tired of low IQ hotheads who just are blabbing at the mouthalwaysblaming others for their failures. They are a very fair company with avery generous pay package.I could not afford to stay home and take care of my wife if I had not worked for this company the past 3 years.
