Market Traders Institute - MTI Trader Winter Park Florida

I am sure there are successful traders with MTI. However, it is not as easy as they make it out to be. I am in my third year and do trade by the rules. I read another trader's response where he studies the charts and places his trade. He turns off the computer. Well, I stayed up all night at first then tried to go to work. I followed the trend and set limit orders if the trade took. I lost $1,800 since January. When you figure in the monthly the charges and investment in a laptop, etc, the payback is simply not there. I was under the impression that I would have after hours, days, weeks, and months that I would have trade that I could use successfully with the understanding that not every trade works, but in the long run I would be profitable. This simply has not been the case. Pure technical trading is not the answer in light of the fact that the trade will probably stay open for several hours to several days hoping that a fundamental announcement doesn't take you out.

I do recommend MTI to learn currency trading, but to make serious money at it I would say to most individuals: no. It is still gambling because the market does change the setup more often than not making null and void your entry and exit. Two or three one hour candles to the right is no guarantee nor a fibonacci convergence retracement. I have had as much as three different supports telling me to get in only to have it change. I am personally bowing out after these years I put into it.

Once again, my hat is off to those make money at it, but I didn't. And a warning to those to be careful because nine out of ten traders fail and this course does not increase your chances of winning. My only suggestion to MTI is to broaden the context of fundamentals with technical trading filling the gaps.
