Long story short, these people gave me false hope long before I was late on my mortgage. They told us to stop paying so that my home loan company would see that I really needed the modification. We got so far behind and they then told us they could not help. After alot of threatening, calling their local newspapers and county atty's we got a refund but not before havingto file bankruptcy to save my home, that is not yet saved. I would like to be involved in a class action. Any other takers or anyonewith a class action already under way? I still have printed communication and the page on their old site that said that they recommend not paying until the process is final. Contact me at (((REDACTED))) @gmail.com

Sorry but YOU created your own problems.
They told us to stop paying so that my home loan company would see that I really needed the modification
- YOU intentionally stopped paying your Mortgage thinking you could give the Mortgage company the false impression that you couldn't make your payments. You were paying your Mortgage and when the bank reviews your situation they can obviously see right through this "trick".
Sure I bet you are going to say it wasn't easy to make the payments..but you were making them. No where in life is there a guarantee that things will be easy.
I also bet that you are saying "well they told us to". Okay people tell you to do a lot of things in life. But in the end it is YOUR choice.
