Afni Collections are a SCAM! BEWARE! ripoff Bloomington, Illinois

I received in the mail yesterday July 2007 a collections letter. Knowing this was impossible that it was even for me I called the company. They indicated where the address of service for Verizon(formerly Bell Atlantic) was and I explained I never even had that Telephone Number in my life.

After all was said and done I said i would be contacting my Attorney and deal with it at that time. I know in my State the SOL has passed for placing this on my credit report. So other then annoy me to death with letters and calls they can not do a darn thing to me. However, I do not ever recall having such a number or a bill so I am having my attorney take care of this.
