AFNI Collections AFNI Collections Billed for a Verizon account that I never opened Bloomington Illinois Or Concord California

This company sent me a letter telling me that I owed Verizon Florida, Inc. $247.61. When I tried calling (866)308-1160 the message kept telling me the lines were busy and that I should go online to AFNICOLLECTIONS.com to settle my debt..

My concern was the fact that when I lived in Florida I was under 18 and unable to get a phone in my name. I decided to then contact Verizon and attempt to track down the debt that I owed. After 30 minutes of searching under the account #, phone #, my name etc. as listed on the collection notice with no success. The operator at Verizon said from there records I never held an account in FLORIDA..

After the call the searching commenced. I'm glad that I found this site. I have also contacted my local news station in hopes of further spreading the word on AFNI and their collection scheme.
