This was a very bad experience.  We spent  two months packing up and moving boxes from our former home to our new home to reduce the estimate of $6880.  When Sam and his four  man crew arrived they were surprised that there was little for them to pack. The packers assembled 17 boxes for my housekeeper and me to pack and they proceeded packing electronics and pictures, per our agreement. The following day three movers arrived and began removing furniture from the home. When Sam returned to be paid I was stunned when he handed me a bill that was not less than the estimate, considering the work that we had previously done and the $1000.00 we spent on boxes, packing materials and blankets prior to their arrival, but $2680 higher than the estimate.  He had told us that the estimate could only increase by 15% meaning $1032.  I was horrified, but, I was also forced to pay the bill because my furniture was being held hostage on their trucks.  He told me I could dispute it later. The furniture arrived broken, damaged and the movers who unloaded the trucks stole 11 of our packing blankets. When I called to settle the claim they suddenly had trouble understanding English. They charged us for packing supplies that we purchased prior to their arrival.  We filed a claim with CSIPros but they are as dishonest as Air1.  We had receipts, letters from witnesses, and pictures. They did not care that antiques were damaged and porcelain shattered.  We had thousands in damage and were offered $112.00.  We thought that Air1 would be responsible for the overcharge but apparently the law means nothing to these outlaws. Terrible experience.  They are dishonest, irresponsible, rude and disrespectful.
