I could not agree with the previous review more. BEWARE and STAY WAY FROM THIS COMPANY are absolutely right. They purposely do a VERY QUICK walkaround with you when you are picking up the unit so that you dont notice all the damage that is present. Then, when I returned the RV, hey presto! There is new damage. I too was more than careful and we went to an area that had nothing around it. I did admit to a scratch/dent in a cupboard door which we did do, but it seems that I will be paying for lots more things to be done for the owners of the unit. I too should have read the reviews more carefully so that I could have avoided this. I will never rent from them again. STAY AWAY and go someplace else for all your RV needs. RIPPED OFF. They say that they take before and after pictures, but they really take the minimum. In fact, their own pictures proved that 2 of the things they tried to accuse me of, I DID NOT actually do. I will NEVER use this company again. STAY AWAY.


If you need any more proof, just read all the reviews online and look at their BBB rating of F!


Go ahead and rent from them if you don't mind never seeing your deposit ever again.

We never hurry during our walk through process.  In fact many renters arrive late to pick up their RVs to go on their vacations and get frustrated when we purposely slow them down and insist they help us do a complete and thorough walk through ... this is for their benefit!

Not taking "enough" photos is probably the #1 complaint I get from people contesting damages.  We take several pics of the RV prior to departure, but how many is enough?  12? 20? 30? 50?  How far back and to what level of detail should I get of each and every area of an RV? I've taken 100 pics of an RV once and still the damages incurred weren't conclusive in the photos.  How can a human being predict where damages are going to occur in the future and make sure we get really clear, close up photos of that specific area and at the right angle and distance ... really!

Photos are simply a supplemental tool to the actual walk through process when writing up all the damages on the check out sheet.  By the way, the damages that we caught and corrected on our Check In sheet for this complaintant were items actually on the Check Out sheet that were not caught in the initial review - not from the pics.

Yes, we did not charge him for something someone else did, but I expect all renters to pay for the damages that were incurred while the Rv was in their possession.

One valid concern brought up by this compaintant is our BBB rating.  The reason for our negative rating is because many of the complaints have actually been settled or satisfied but the complaintant has not bothered to let the BBB know about it.  I suppose I need to take the time to go through and rebut each one of them and get the BBB to retract them.  That is on me and something I will begin working on in 2011.

What is a shame is that literally thousands of people have gone and returned and created super great new memories for their families - there just isn't a complaint forum for a happy trip!  Too bad there isn't a "Woohoo" section to the ripoff report where people can actually go in and tell about their good experiences.  They write us letters, send us cards, cakes and presents at Christmas, but I cannot put that on this blog very well . . . um, we do eat the cakes :-)
