We reserved a pop-up camper from American Dream Vacations in San Antonio, TX last year but had to change our camp plans because of severe heat, drought, and the illness of one of our children. Instead of working with us to refund our rental deposit, American Dream Vacations staff members were rude, arrogant and horrible about the whole ordeal. The State of Texas Attorney General's Office even has them now listed as having an unresolved complaint because of this. In short, instead of working with us to refund our $200 deposit in hopes of gaining us as customers in the future, American Dream Vacations decided that keeping our families money was more important to them. BEWARE of their bad practices. Once they get your deposit, they truly couldn't care less whether you actually go on your vacation or not, and the owner of their company ADMITTED this!

These folks were upset that they had to pay a cancellation fee on a camper that was reserved specifically for them and for specific dates.
The very first line of the Reservation they signed clearly spelled out the policy concerning last minute cancellations and what the penalty would be. No fine print.
All of our rental units belong to individuals and we are contractually obiligated to follow the policies and procedures.
The owner of this vehicle lost rental income because these folks reserved the unit then cancelled at the last minute.
It's unfortunate that they can't understand that we did nothing more than follow the clearly stated policy.
