Before moving in our house, we were told we need no downpayment, we paid $2500. 00 at closing. The furnace was installed wrong, our first three month utility bill was from $300.00 to $600.00. The female at the financing office stated America's Home Place has given false information a lot of their customers. Our HVAC repairer stated, no matter what that temperature was set on the entire unit-blower, heating and cooling would come on, due to the wiring was not installed properly.
Our HVAC repairer stated we were lucky it didn't catch fire, due to having a "HOT" wire running through the furnace. The furnace would blow cold air in the winter and blow hot air in the summer. It rained down the windows, due to the mexican building {framing} the house and not properly nailing the shingles to the roof. We have approximatly a 2 inch gap between the back door and garage doors and the frame. The furnace leaked and destroyed a large portion of the ceiling and wall. The windows do not stay on track, when they are raised.

AMERICA'S HOME PLACE BJ On November 28, 2013...IT FINALLY HAPPEN!!! MY HOUSE BUILT BY THE FAMOUS AMERICA'S HOME PLACE, BURNED TO THE GROUND, DUE TO FAULTY WIRING. I'M SURE THE "SO-CALLED" ELECTRICIAN WORKING FOR AMREICA'S HOME PLACE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE CAME OUT TO REPAIR THE FURNACE BASICALLY EVERY WEEK TO DO SOME KIND OF REPAIR, MOSTLY ON THE FURNACE. THE FURNACE WAS WIRED BY A "HOT" WIRE, WHICH MADE EVERYTHING..BLOWERS, FURNACE..ETC COME ON NO MATTER WHETHER IT WAS HEAT OR AIR!!! THANKS, AMERICA'S HOME PLACE...I LOST EVERYTHING THAT I WORKED SO HARD FOR. LUCKILY, WE GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE WITH OUR LIVES..AGAIN...THANKS..AMERICA'S HOME PLACE!!!! BENTON Mississippi IT FINALLY HAPPENED...On Thursday, 28 November 2013, my house burned o the ground, due to faulty wiring. For the first three years, America's Home Place, was called out basically every week for some issues with the furnace. During the winter months, it blew COLD air instead of heat! During the summer months, it blew HOT air. America's Home Place, HVAC person, wired the furnace with a "HOT" wire, instead of fixing the problem. No matter what we used, all parts of the furnace {..ie..the blower} would come on and constantly run causing extremely high electrical bills...AGAIN..THANKS, AMERICA'S HOME PLACE.. I LOST EVERYTHING THAT WE HAD, EXCEPT THE CLOTHES ON OUR BACK!!!.
