Non Renewel of Lease, due to upagrading of apartments.

We lived at our apartments for almost 12 years. Aspen is claiming we owe 902.00 , and that is after subtracting our deposit.

All upgraded apartments receive upgraded stainless steel appliances, and yet we are being charged with repairing, and cleaning of old appliances.

Being charged for replacing carpet , and vendor fees, being charged for late fee when we didn't even have end of lease fees statement.

We are refusing to pay, and said we would see them in Small Claims Court. Now they are threatening us with collections, and having to pay there attorney fee's.

They say we breached our lease? They are the company who would not renew our lease, so how did we breech it?
