I was using a BoA account to direct deposit my tax return and the same day it was deposited into my account was the same day it was closed. BoA gave me no notice nor did they give me reason why the account was closed. This happened on 02/22/17 but I have yet to hear from them.

Bank of ameria is back to their old ways again. They are starting to illegally start foreclosing proceedings to steal peoples homes again. And now they are mistreating the poorer Americans by wrongfully closing their checking account and not telling them. I guess bank of america will be the new wells fargo committing crimes agaisnt hard working american citizens. Because they have their boy trump President now.
They can go back to their criminal ways, and with TGY threatening consumers and bullying them and trying to slience them again. Well we will not go down without a fight agaisnt bank of america!

My questions

Firstly I asked why they did it (no answer) Then I asked who did it (also no answer) Lastly, I asked when would I received further correspondence (ding!) They said the usual 10-15 business days, but it's been 35 business days and I'm tired of waiting in the blind.

I called multiple CSRs and I called the Risk Assessment dept. twice to no avail. I went in to a branch in Riverdale, GA (where I live) but they only had me call a CSR and they led me to the Risk assessment dept. after about two hours of me and the branch rep. talking with them on the phone. Ultimately a big waste of time that didn't resolve my issue nor did it provide a reason for the account closure.

Since you are obviously very smart and wouldn't just sit on your rear end waiting for them to call you. What did they say when you have contacted them about what was going on?
