My wife ordered blinds and was charged 800.00 dollars for two windows. She was told they would arrive within ten days. After 20 days we had to call left a message because they don't answer the phone we left a message to cancel the order and was called back in 30 minutes. The lady I guess his wife said the order could not be cancelled and the blinds had shipped. I asked for a tracking number but they didn't have one. Three days later she( his wife) left a message with a tracking number when I checked they still had not shipped. A week later I had a message they had arrived and wanted to set up an appointment to install. Now it is a month later and another message left. The name is Mark Paulson Budget blinds Charlotte NC DON"T USE THEM.

We were recently made aware of this report and would like to respond.  At the time of the order we tell all of our customers that blinds and shades take 10-15 business days to produce and deliver to us.  In this case Mr. and Mrs. and I had a misunderstanding about the delivery time.  The actual delivery time was 18 business days due to a backorder on the shade fabric and, the Perrys were given a $50.00 discount because of the delay.  The order was taken on 9-4-10, which was Labor Day weekend, so could not be placed with our vendor until 9-7-10. We received the shades on 10-1-10, but did not install until 10-9-10 due to the customers availability. The customer requested and was given a tracking number for shipping on 9-27-10, so he knew when the shades would be delivered. 

As far as communication with the Perrys, we were using email with Mrs. Perry as well as returning all of Mr. Perrys phone messages. As you can see in his report, we had to also leave messages for him. 

So we can minimize these type of misunderstandings with our customers we have begun giving delivery times in business days and full weeks.

After installation the customer was not satisfied with the shades because of the 1/4" deduction that is taken for the cordless option - leaving a 1/8" gap on either side of the shade a gap that is necessary for the proper operation of the shades.  The only way to eliminate the gap is to make the shades with the cord loop option.  So, at our expense, we had the shades remade with the cord loop option and credited the customer for the price difference of $97.00!  In the end, the Perrys stated they were completely satisfied with the shades.

This entire job ended up costing us money to complete to the customers satisfaction.  We take pride in the fact that sometimes we have to go above and beyond what is reasonable to take care of a problem.  Luckily 99%+ of our customers are very happy with us and continue to call us back over and over again. 

Upon completion of the job, Mr. Perry stated he would use us again because all of his issues had been resolved.
