Capital Acquisition And Management Company Aka CAMCO Another attempted ripoff! Rockford Illinois

I recently received a phone call saying I owed over $3,000 for a credit card that I don't remember having - I had lived overseas from 1990-2002 and had no credit cards from Chase bank or any other bank during that time.

The man on the phone, Antonio Jones, was rude and arrogant and laughed at me when I tried to tell him that it couldn't be me - he said something about my credit report, and I know for a fact that my credit report was blank as I'd been out of country for so long, and had just received a mortgage last month with a blank credit report.

Today I received a bill for $3,850.55 with the usual crap about sending it within 30 days. I phoned to ask Antonio Jones again what it was about, and told him that even if I had been out of country I still had a debt. I mentioned the statute of limitations in case I could have possibly had a debt from the 80s, but he laughed at me and said I had to pay the money, and threatened to garnish my wages if I didn't pay! He also refused to say when the debt was incurred.

In the end I told him where to go - after reading the experiences of others I think I will send the "cease and desist" letter (where can I find this?) and file a report - any advice on where and with whom to do this?
