I recently was shopping online to find a pair of Air Jordans that had been stolen from me a few years back. I came across www.cankicks.com and the shoes that I was looking for were being sold on this site. The first red flag that I should have seen was that they were being sold for less today, than what they were being sold when they first came out. Not listening to reason I decided to buy the shoes anyway. I waited the allotted time frame given by the company. As soon as the shoes cleared customs and made it to my city they were lost or stolen by the post office. I contacted the company and told them the situation and received a response that I should go to the post office and pick up the shoes before they get lost. I made several request from CanKicks in assistance in the form of supplying a shipping label and they were never replied to. The postal service told me I should have the company request a refund, which I did and that was never replied to. After a month and a half of trying to interact with this company I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and received a response the following day. I was to pay the shipping and they would reship the shoes. The shady buisness practice comes into play by the company sending all correspondence in regards to the reship and the closing out of the case from the BBB was sent to my bulk folder instead of my inbox like all the information had been sent prior to my complaint. I believe this was in hopes that I would delete the corresponding emails in the bulk folder and not respond in time before the 10 day complaint response window closed. I ordered the shoes February 16th, it is now April 11th and I still havent received my the merchandise. I am assured by the BBB that this matter will be taken care of, but if the quality standards of the shoes dont live up to the standards that the company claims, I will open another complaint.
