I had a payday loan with cashnet 500 (a few in fact) and was great about paying them until I got sick and my husband got laid off. I tried to work something out with them instead of just not paying but the would not. They REFUSED to work anything out, and said if I did not pay they would have me arrested.
I tried several times to work something out and the last time (today 2/5/07) they informed me that they were obtaining an arrest warrant for me and that my home would be taken away and my daughter would be put into child services.
I said over and over that I want to pay I just cant pay the whole balance at once, and they said they would take nothing less than the entire balance or I go to jail.
Please help me.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You aren't going to jail

That's just the scare tactics they use. You aren't going to lose your home, either. If they have access to your bank account, close the account and get a new one so they can't take more money. All they can do is harass you.
I don't think it is even legal to provide pay day loans in Connecticut, so they are probably acting outside the law. They are certainly acting outside the law by threatening to have you put in jail.
