Cigna Group Insurance Disability Managment Solutions Complete Frauds, they violated the estoppe law as well as several other insurance regulations Dallas, Texas

I had worked for FedEx Freight for almost 4 years. My in house disability Insurance provided was Cigna Group Insurance. I have paid my premiums since the beginning of my career with FedEx which totaled 3 years six months. I have I have been diagnosed with inflammatory disease of the central nervous system, as well as white matter changes, (lesions in my brain) sever migraines, memory loss, symptoms involving nervous and musculoskeletal systems, narrowing of the spinal canal and disk degeneration.
 
My symptoms finally made it so my Doctors said that I could not work any longer. My Primary care took me off work and my Neurologist said that I could not continue my job. This was March 8th 2011. I turned this into the claims department at Cigna and they approved payment through March.  When it came time for my next check they had discovered that I would NOT be able to return to work, so they denied my claim. They told me that even though both my Doctors said that I am permanently disabled and they would not release me to go back to work, that was not qualified to receive my Paid For Disability.

So I filed my appeal and sent it certified mail return receipt requested to the address they provide in my packet explaining my benefits. I didnt receive it back for 2 months, then I went to the post office and they could not tell me where it was.  Suddenly the VERY next day it shows up in my mail box. 

So this is October, and I am still waiting for an answer. I tried for 4 months to find a lawyer to take my case, finally I found one in Kansas City MO. The part of the law that is allocated to short term disability is ERISA Law. You do not have to wait 9 months like I did, do a search for this law and find a good attorney, especially if you are dealing with Cigna or an affiliate.  Dont loose every thing you have worked for to not get paid for something that you have paid for.
